Proposal
Let’s get back to the beginning. And into the weeds.

Our proposal.
The process is simple.
Research
We’ll, of course, deep-dive into the documents you shared with us and talk through the nuance together.

We’ll also host a thorough discussion with key Playground stakeholders
to learn about the business, services, expectations, etc.
Work Sessions
Work sessions are a quick way of gathering the
key players’ opinions and shaping them into meaningful
brand tenets – values, mission, personality, tone, etc.

Usually two sessions, with the right people and asking
the right questions, gets us the information we need
to build a branding foundation. More information about
work sessions is available here.
Brand Brief
With that foundation in hand, we can write a brand brief.
‍
This includes information from our research and work session
discoveries. Think audience, brand priorities, messaging hierarchy,
tone of voice, design aesthetic, etc.

The brief will be used as a guiding light for many projects to come.
Mantra and Identity
Using the brand brief to guide the work, we’ll write
a Playground brand mantra. This is a statement that encapsulates
who Playground is and how we share ourselves with the world.

We’ll also put together an  online brand identity
outlining mantra, vision, mission, tone, voice, typeface, color, design aesthetic, logo treatment and other key facets of branding.

We’ll want to leave room in the brand identity for growth and adaptation since
real-world work requires flexibility.
Go to Market Plan
With the brand identity and personality firmly in place, we can make smarter decisions about how to bring the brand to life.

Does it mean a full scale website redo? A change to how we approach founders? An update to our templates and collateral pieces?

Together we will determine those priorities, identify the objectives and needs for each piece through a discovery process. We will then scope them accordingly.
